Tempered glass
Tempered glass is about four times stronger than annealed glass. It is a type of safety glass processed by controlled thermal or chemical treatments to increase its strength compared with normal glass.
Uses of Tempered Glass: –Tempered glass is used when strength, thermal resistance, and safety are important considerations.
Laminated Glass
Laminated glass is a type of safety glass consisting of two or more layers of glass with one or more thin polymer interlayers between them which prevent the glass from breaking into large sharp pieces. The main benefits of laminated glass are increased safety/security, reduced emissions, reduced noise pollution, and protection during natural disasters.
Uses of Laminated Glass: – Architecture, glazing, automobile safety, photovoltaic, UV protection, windshields etc.
Double Glazing
Double glazing is a window feature that consists of two panes of glass separated by a gap filled with an insulating gas or air. The gap, along with the two panes of glass, creates a thermal barrier that reduces the amount of heat that can pass through the window.
Uses of Double glazing: – Double glazing glass using in window, Partition etc.
